I did suggest to someone in the crew they should make me a regular police character in the series, this is the third time I have appeared as a copper!

A winter wonderland best described the weather for filming! I woke up on the morning to see 5" of snow! Thankfully the filming was later on in the day and with the beautiful sunshine, most of it had cleared by the time I got to location just outside Bath. As soon as I arrived I was pretty much shipped off to the costume dept where I was put in, I think one of the best costumes among the supporting artists. I was then taken to hair and make up where they put my hair up in a style of the period. I think I must of had at least half a tub of hair grips in my hair! As usual with filming lots of hanging around was the order of the day with dinner too. We were eventually sent down to the location which was a beautiful farm with lots of out buildings all wood framed and large slate tiled roof. The scene I was in was set at a barn dance and it was literally a big wooden framed barn. Some of the SA's were dancers, the rest of us were set around the barn, it looked great. There was also a traditional Irish type band to play the music, kind of reminded me of that dance scene in Titanic!
Just before we filmed the scene the snow started to fall again and it was like being at the North Pole! It was really cold so when we started the filming and we had to take our modern coats off, boy you felt the freezing temperatures. You could see your breath when you spoke! It all seemed to go smoothly and it was fun when you tried to forget how cold you were! Filming wrapped at about 10.45pm and it was good to get back into some warmth and thaw out!
Not sure when this shall be aired as they have just started. This is the BBC's new adaptation of the Thomas Hardy novel so expect a great production!

( 3.1 / 187 )Just completed 3 days filming on location for the BBC series Casualty. It was one of the most enjoyable but hard going 3 days of filming. I can easily say that the cast and crew on this production was one of the nicest I've worked with. Everyone pulled together and worked really hard and I'm sure this will show in the finished production.
The series was set at a Sci-Fi/Superhero convention with yours truly dressed up as one of the costumed characters. Wearing my own costume minus several parts of the armour for copyright reasons I was still the Warrior Princess! I had a great little walk on part in one scene and will be seen in most shots of the convention. There are 2 incidents that happen at the convention, one involving a superhero character and one with a famous Sci-Fi authors PA. For all you fans of the Aussie soap Neighbours you will recognise a familiar face of Mark Little who played Joe Mangle. He was playing a character connected with the Superhero character that gets injured. I've heard the episode will get aired on BBC1 on May 24th so keep an eye out!
