Hey,
Just thought I would give you a quick update as to what I've been upto since I posted last.
Done a couple of days background work one on Doctors and one on Casualty, the Casualty episode I was driving a car which was part of a stunt scene. No don't get excited I was not involved in the actual stunt I was driving a car in the scene to make it believable that it was happening on a real road. We were filming on a disused section of road which involved the stunt vehicle clipping the edge of some roadworks barriers and spinning around. I was driving a car going the opposite way to the action. It was fun to do and different to just being in the back of a shot, timing the vehicles to all set off at different times to make the scene work was interesting to see, I got to drive a nice new car too!

Off to the Medieval Battle of Tewkesbury in Gloucestershire this weekend taking part in some medieval hunting games, hope the weather holds off!

My Elizabeth Swann costume I'm making is coming along all but slowly but I have finished the scaled collar and I'm very happy with it. I will post up some photos shortly.

Catch you next week

Hey!
Just got back from filming for a new TV series called Mutual Friends, a new six-part comedy drama series for transmission later this year on BBC One. I only had the one day filming as background so you may get a quick glimpse of me! It was filmed in Henley on Thames on a lovely sunny day.

Will keep you posted of new and up and coming projects, oh by the way The Last Saxon is now complete and hopefully I will get my copy in the next few days, again I will let you know if it's entered into some festivals.

Thanks for you continued interest and support.

The Wolfman filming, London - 1st June 2008
Had an early call of 6.30am in central London:P For once the weather forcast was nice which makes a change! After being corsetted up and and dressed to the nines I had my hair and makeup done too.
We were based at the Royal College of Surgeons which was a 5 minute walk away from where we were filming. The first half of the day was shooting a London street scene at a place called 'The Temple' just off Fleet Street. Here is a photo of the actual part of the street we were filming on and my start position for the take was literally on the pavement in the bottom of the photo.

Obviously there were no cars or modern things when filming, the picture was not taken by myself it was one I found on the web.
The scene involved the main actor Benicio Del Toro stalking a woman as he walks down the street. We were playing the crowds walking the streets, I passed in front of Benicio at one point, who knows you may just see a blur of me!GRIN
The second part of the day was another scene, this time outside the back of the Royal Courts of Justice on Carey Street.
Here on the corner they put a false front on the shop to create an antique shop where some of the action happens. They put foam cobble sheets down to make the street look authentic which it really did. All shots at this location was filmed during a downpour of very heavy rain! A large rain machine was used and boy did it work! These scenes involed a couple of the main characters played by Emily Blunt and Hugo Weaving. Everyone got soaked during these scenes whether you had an umbrella or not! Even though the day was very long, I didn't sign out until 9.45pm it was very enjoyable. I doubt if you will see me but it looks like its going to be a really cool film. My only disappointment was the other main actor Anthony Hopkins wasn't on set that day. Oh well can't have it all!GRIN

Me in my fancy hat!

The Wolfman - Costume Fit

Went for my fitting for a days filming (just background)on the new adaptation of "The Wolfman" starring Anthony Hopkins and Benicio Del Toro. Set in Victorian times the days filming I'm involved with will be filmed in a weeks time. I love my dress, Very fitted! At first they were worried they wouldn't have a dress long enough (I thought here we go again!) My height and period productions don't seem to blend well, but thankfully I will be ok in this one. I will have my hair up and have a small hat on too when it comes to filming. Can't wait, will hopefully get some more pics of me in costume on set. GRIN
